An Average School Day

Today was Monday.
Ugh.
I hate Mondays.

I woke up, stretched, and went to the bathroom, brushed my hair and teeth. Then, I got dressed. I bike to school every day, and I have to wake up pretty early.

I put on my outfit of the day (a red cashmere sweater over my MCR shirt with blue jeans and Tommy Hilfiger shoes) and went downstairs.

For breakfast I had my usual bagel with creme cheese, minus the coffee that my mom refuses to make me nowadays due to my picky-ness.

I biked to school with minimal struggles (it gets worse to bike each day of the week) and waited for the first period bell to ring.

When it did, I went to my first subject; History.

We are currently studying Medieval China, and we're doing a brochure project. I completed the entire project, so tomorrow I will probably have a breezy first period.

I'm SO excited for thanksgiving break, even though I don't celebrate thanksgiving because... fake holiday. We're going to LA and we are staying right next to Venice Beach!!

It's an eight hour drive to LA if we are lucky, so I'm mentally preparing myself for those hours, though I do quite enjoy road trips.

My next period was Science, which we are currently doing an atom model project in.

After Science, I had break and hung out with my group of friends. My best friend in my grade, (we'll call her S) always has practically a MOUNTAIN of snacks in her back, and she gave me a couple Funions, before cracking open a bag of Cheetos and saving her soda for Advisory, where she sneaked a couple sips.

The rest of the day went my kinda slow, and I had to give up my lunch to re-take a math quiz. I missed my entire lunch, then camped out in the bathroom, skimming through social media before the bell rang.

Then I had P.E. and English. I have P.E. with S, and although it's my least favorite class, (due to the teacher and the things we do) S always makes it fun. After those two subjects, I had my last period, Digital Media, with my best friend in a higher grade; (we'll call him Noodle).

After school I went to the Trader Joe's with Noodle, which is located right across from our school, along with a street with TONS of shops.

We got merengues and caramel wafers.

I then biked home, without spending lots of time after school because of how dark it gets so early.

So that was my average school day. I'll keep y'all (my one reader) updated on all the tea at school (unless it's to scolding hot).

You might see the mention of S and Noodle in further posts. How was your day? I'd love to hear about it it the comments, but until then,
