Venice Beach Break Pt. 2
Sunday
My brother and dad went to the beach in the morning, and my mom headed her last Yoga class while we are here.
I spent the majority of the day at home, watching 'Friends' and napping.
When my brother and my dad got home, my dad suggested we walk down to the canal to take some photographs. Obviously, since he forgot to bring the charger for his fancy (and expensive!) camera, we didn't have a camera to take the best quality pics, but I really liked some of the ones I took, and the canal was a great place to take pictures.
Be prepared for an overload of canal photos!
I love the bridge in this picture; I feel like it brightens up the whole picture, and it has a slight contrast in comparison to the beige buildings and the palm trees.
I know, I know; another bridge picture. There were so many cute bridges though! I like this photo, although I think the first bridge photo was cuter.
Not the best quality, however I liked the building next to the palm tree (more on the building soon!) Not my favorite photo, but I still do enjoy it.
Another yellow flower photo, because they're so pretty and vibrant!
For dinner we went to a really fancy italian restaurant (the bill was... an intimidating amount of money).

I think that these flowers were such a pretty color of yellow, that I couldn't help but photograph them, They were very bright, and I love yellow anything!
I like this photo, because the shadow is very silhouetted. You can tell that its a person and a dog, and I enjoy its simplicity.

Notice anything? Yup; it's the same building. The last photo, and even this photo don't do it justice; this house is so beautiful. The sun hit it so perfectly, it's yellow, and I'm sad it's not very good quality.
Ta-da! More palm trees, because I just can't get enough of them! They are so aesthetically pleasing!!
I wanted to get a good overhead-ish photo of these houses reflections in the water, but due to my height (or lack there of) you don't see as much of the building as I'd dreamed of, but I do like this picture.
This picture was super out of focus, but i think it makes it kinda unique. I like how I got my dad walking (with his new shirt we got from the market yesterday!)

Everything was so fancy, and I felt pretty pathetic ordering the basic, yet twenty dollar spaghetti and meatballs.
Monday
Again; I didn't do much today, but I've started writing another post that will likely be up after this trip. (can you guess what it is?)
When I eventually did go out, I wore my YSL polo I got at the market, and a pair of light wash Pacsun jeans.
We went to a cute record store, and the guy who owned it got annoyed with me because I sat on the edge of a record shelf (sorry).
We then went into a very dodgy store that was called "Meshika" I mean, for fucks sake, at least spell the name right if your going to have a white owned store that is practically appropriating someones culture. My mom was ready to fight that lady, like the badass MEXICA she is.
Okay. Sorry for that rant.
Then we went to a cute little coffee house, (actually it was very fancy and it was twenty dollars for three drinks) and I annoyed some L.A. girls by doing my basic white girl voice (sorry x2).
I couldn't find the place online, since I believe it's relatively new.
We had dinner at home, so I don't have anything very exciting to say about dinner (sorry mom and dad).
Tomorrow me and my dad are going to an art gallery, and (if I'm allowed) I'll take some photos for the next post!
